What's Apostrofo


Apostrofo wishes to introduce authentic and unique Italian flavours to Swiss-based consumers. Producers with local roots, genuine flavours and farm-to-table products: that’s what we care about most at Apostrofo.

Apostrofo was born out of Federica's curiosity to find niche, high quality and organic food products across Italy.

Federica, the founder, is Italian and has a degree in Law from the University of Trento, her hometown. Having always been enthusiastic about fine cuisine, over the years she has cultivated the desire to create something that would combine her work experience in the field of communication and event management with her passion for premium Italian cuisine. 

In 2020 Federica decided to move to Zurich, but found herself continuously searching for traditional Italian flavours. With little luck, the idea of creating Apostrofo came about: a quality culinary experience accessible at home, with the memories and aromas associated with a trip to Italy.

Apostrofo is a true culinary journey which aims to break down borders and bring Switzerland and Italy closer together. Let’s embark on this journey together!
